The SpeechBus will need to park in a relatively flat area that is at least 24 feet long, with an overhead clearance of at least 11 feet high (i.e., free of branches, phone lines, etc.).  Your driveway, community parking lot, or legal street parking would do. If you are worried about available parking, feel free to ask about meeting our SLP in the Speech Bus at a nearby public place.

To come aboard the SpeechBus, patients must be able to safely and independently climb four (4) steps with risers that are eight (8) inches tall. Additionally, please be aware, That SpeechBus has a maximum interior ceiling height of about six (6) feet and door widths of 32" (inches.)

The SpeechBus is a mobile office suite, allowing the convenience of speech therapy that comes to your door. But being on the road every day means that, sometimes, things will come up and cause delays. So, to expect the unexpected, we have to keep our schedule a little flexible; each patient receives a 30-minute window for the start time of every appointment (e.g., "Monday between 8:30-9:00 am")

Additionally, we arrange our appointments by location, meaning the availability of time slots will depend on where a patient is located and if we see other patients who live nearby.  

Therapy appointments in the SpeechBus might face cancellation in the event of inclement weather such as, but not limited to the following: snow, ice, heavy rain, flooding, tornado conditions, hail, or more.
